This winged heart is a 8" x 5-1/2" (20.32 x 14 cm) rigid dense fiber board base. It is thinner than many other surfaces at 1/4" (0.6 cm) thick.
That makes it great for lighter projects, including painting and decoupaging. It can also be used for mosaicing. It has approximately 22" of surface area. Only the front side has the outline, but either side can be used.
It is recommended that you seal MDF prior to using it. A clear sealant or a even a sligthly diluted high quality PVA white glue (such as Weldbond) will work.
