This ornament is a 4-1/2" x 4" (11.43 x 10.16 cm) base. It is a thinner plaque at 1/4" (0.64 cm) thick. It has a hole in the top, just like a traditional Christmas ornament. You could use that hole for hanging from a wall or even a tree. Being oval, it could be used for a small sign, too.
Being made of thin MDF makes it great for lighter projects, including painting and decoupaging. It can also be used for mosaicing.
It is flat on both sides, so you can use it facing in either direction.
It is recommended that you seal dense fiberboard prior to using it. A clear sealant or a even a slightly diluted high quality white glue (such as Weldbond) will work.
